Eight people from Walter Tosto have been welcomed on board of the large Heavy Lift Jumbo Kinetics, landed in Ortona for loading one of the biggest components ever made by Walter Tosto.

With a length of 152 m, a deadweight of 14,000 tons, two 1,500t crane with a combined lift capacity of 3,000t, the boat is the largest of the entire Jumbo fleet.

After explaining the usual safety procedures, the captain of the ship accompanied Walter Tosto’s staff for a tour in the different areas of the vessel.

“We were really surprised by the order in all the departments and the professionalism of the crew” commented Andrea Tina, Walter Tosto’s Purchasing Manager. And he added: “This visit further strengthens the synergy with our Dutch partner Jumbo, that we thank for the invitation and for the hospitality“.
