For 60 students of the fifth class of Mechanical and Mechatronics address of the Industrial Institute of Pescara, friday’s lesson was different from the usual ones.

The students, accompanied by their teachers, had the opportunity to closely observe the production processes studied at school, inside the plants of Walter Tosto SpA, where the company’s technicians and engineers illustrated the different mechanical processes and cutting-edge technologies used by the company. The students proved to be very interested in the company’s activities, particularly in the types of welding on very big pieces.

This visit consolidates the relationship and collaboration between the company and  the local schools undertaken with the  work-related learning project, one of the most significant innovations in the “good school” law.
