Walter Tosto, by virtue of the long-lasting collaboration with the National Institute of Nuclear Physics  (INFN), has been invited to the Inauguration of the DarkSide-50 (DS-50) experiment, being held on Monday June 22nd, 2015, at Gran Sasso National Laboratory in Assergi, L’Aquila (Italy).

The company was indeed designated for the design, manufacturing and installation of the components representing the heart of the DarkSide project’s plant: the cryostat and the scintillator.

Currently under construction in Hall C of the Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS) in Italy, DS-50 is a cutting edge experiment developed to search direct evidence of dark matter by using a detector of particles.
