The activities for the fabrication of the vacuum vessel sectors for the largest international nuclear fusion project ITER are proceeding positively at Walter Tosto, which participates to the project as a member of the AMW (Ansaldo – Mangiarotti – Walter Tosto) consortium.

After completing the single components production, the assembly of the segments is taking place.

This component concerns the most complex portion of the vacuum vessel and requires high degree of accuracy. The team is demonstrating full commitment to achieve the important goal to be completed at the end of the year.
