Walter Tosto at the forefront of pancreatic cancer prevention

Walter Tosto S.p.A. places great importance on the health and well-being of its employees and the people in the local community. With this in mind, we have donated a state-of-the-art endoscopic machine to the G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti and Pescara, aimed at preventing pancreatic cancer.

This morning’s event was significant and emotional, attended by CEO Luca Tosto, the university’s rector Liborio Stuppia, and Professor Alessandro Della Sciucca, who formalized the donation in the presence of a notary.

The goal is to make preventive diagnostics increasingly accessible to everyone, every day. For this reason, the new machine will be integrated into activities in collaboration with the Local Health Service. This generous gesture is driven by the awareness that prevention, as emphasized by Prof. Della Sciucca, is the best weapon to reduce the risk of neoplasms. Additionally, a screening program will be implemented for our company’s employees to ensure they have privileged access to these important diagnostic resources.
