Walter Tosto supports the project ‘La Preda’ against gender-based violence

Training is one of the core values at Walter Tosto. When it aligns with a significant cause like combating gender-based violence, the value of the project doubles. Our company wholeheartedly supported all the efforts behind the creation of the short film “La Preda,” directed by Pierluigi Di Lallo and starring Alessandra Relmi, the director of Confimi Industria Abruzzo.

From this experience arose the idea of establishing a scholarship in memory of Giulia Cecchettin, worth 2,000 euros. This morning, the scholarship was awarded to Deborah Cattafesta, a deserving student of Biomedical Engineering at the University of D’Annunzio in Chieti and Pescara, by Emanuela Tosto, the vice president of Confimi Industria Abruzzo. The ceremony took place in the presence of national and local authorities, as well as law enforcement, at the auditorium of the D’Annunzio Classical High School in Pescara.
CEO Luca Tosto, “Today’s events underscore how crucial it is for us to instill in young people entering the workforce and university world, through the right communication channels, important values like respect for others. We will continue our work and partnerships always in this direction.”
